SANDEEP MISHRA

Associate Professor, Department of Management
Director, Adaptive Ventures Lab
Lang School of Business and Economics
University of Guelph

I am an Associate Professor of Management at the Lang School of Business and Economics and Director of the Adaptive Ventures Lab

We use theory and methods from cognitive science and personality psychology to research a core facet of entrepreneurship and management: judgment and decision-making under risk and uncertainty. A second line of research investigates the psychology of competition.

I teach classes, consult, and offer workshops in three areas of expertise: decision-making, negotiation, and statistics.

Personal

I hail from rural Ontario, born and raised in the heart of tobacco farming country in Norfolk County. I love strategy board games, science fiction, baseball, and jazz/funk-soul/post-rock music (I play drums in a number of groups).
